Task:
Consult selected introduction of new projects and services with clear, well planned content that promotes, engages and informs

Delivering a range of communication plans and associated deliverables, with tasks and responsibilities falling into 2 areas of responsibility:

ƒ. Service Introductions
Consult Product Managers and Project Managers by providing communication support in line with the defined processes. Activities include:
• The creation of tailored communication plans that reflect the planning and milestones of individual projects, and the informational needs of varied stakeholder groups
• Writing and editing engaging, informative articles, features, and informational materials (e.g. for workshops, events or training sessions) to promote and explain a given service.
• Based on information provided by project teams, you will refine the content and presentation of collateral materials, incl. Intranet pages, email communications, fact sheets, presentations, etc., ensuring they are concise, informative and visually attractive.
• Support project teams with communication materials needed from the project kick-off to release-to-production and during the hyper-care period.
• Liaising with Internal Comms team to identify appropriate comms channels and agreeing on publication schedules, deadlines, and approval processes.

„. Self-service ordering tool content development & maintenance
Self-service ordering tool info sets (targeted at end users to describe IT services and products, how they can be ordered and how they can be used) are a key element of the communication materials created during a new service introduction. Although it is the project team’s responsibility to work with the self-service ordering tool team to ensure the backend functionality of a given infoset, it will be your responsibility to develop the front end content for the self-service ordering tool. This includes:
• Agreeing with the self-service ordering tool team on deadlines for content delivery, revision and approval, all scheduled according to a given service’s release to production
• Producing all aforementioned content, including screenshots and supporting materials, using initial content provided by SMEs.
• Support the translation of said content into German (when content is written in English)
• Ensure complete handover to Service Owner following go-live

Requirements (Must have):
• Excellent writing and editing skills (English, preferably also in German)
• Strong technical background/being technically capable
• Skilled at transforming technical facts into simple, easy-to-understand concepts that non-techies can understand and see the value of (for 2 sets of target groups: IT executives and end users)
• Highly proficient with MS Office
• An eye for creating informative, visually appealing PowerPoint slides
• Experienced with image editing software (eg. Photoshop, GIMP)
• Capable of creating and maintaining SharePoint sites

Nice to have:
• Familiar with Content Management Systems
• Experience with screencast and video editing software (eg. Camtasia) would be very welcome
