Job Description:
Uniper Cloud Management Center (CMC) Team is looking for an Azure Automation Engineer who can support CMC Deployment/Automation Lead and Cloud App Development/Support Lead (Carsten Schmitz) in following activities:
Job Responsibilities:
Uniper CMC Azure Infrastructure Framework
- Analyse new automation requests from CMC and App Teams and provide estimates for completion
- Create Automation roadmap based
- Automate Public Cloud Infrastructure related Hub and Spokes repetitive time consuming tasks based on requests from CMC Leads
- Infrastructure Operating Systems Provisioning, operations and monitoring
- Database setup, migration and database server operations, server management and monitoring
- Enterprise System Integration
- Networking, Security and IAM
- Visual Studio Team Server administration
- Azure Infrastructure specific Test Cases
- Azure usage cost report generation
- Azure Billing related tags
- Azure Portal - Notification
- Azure Portal Support Ticket data export related
- Automation scripts to extract data across IteraPlan, Service Now, uCMDB
- Manage changes to automation scripts developed for Infrastructure framework
- CMC cloud service request/provisioning integration with Service Now
- Create or manage automation scripts for application migration based on App Team requests
- Develop deployment and automation related test cases and perform testing
- Analyse and resolve any automation relation incidents
- Develop and publish automation related documentation in Uniper CMC and Uniper level Wiki
- Participate in Uniper wide forums
- Liase with Uniper App Teams and CMC App and Support Leads for application specific Azure adoption best practices
- Send weekly status report
Required Skills
- Hands on experience in PowerShell and bash scripts
- Hands on experience in Azure Power Shell and Azure CLI
- Very good understanding of Azure Services
- Visual Studio Team Server basic knowledge
- Experience in Legacy application migration into Azure
- Experience in application migration between Azure Subscriptions
- Good Troubleshooting skills
- Very good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Very good listening and requirement analysis skills
- Basic knowledge of HP ALM, Service Now and uCMDB
- Test Automation Tool Expertise
- Performance Tool
- Functional/regression tool
