We offer some of the most interesting and challenging roles where you get to work with the latest IT Technologies with some of the biggest clients in Germany.For our client, a global company that provides a portfolio of IT services, software, and technology, we are currently looking for Migration Managers on a Freelance basis (m/f).
Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 18 Months
Location: Hamburg (initially), then remote + travel
Tasks:
• Migrate users and applications into a new IT environment from a multitude of client site and environments
• Managing and distributing teams going off to collecting data on client sites
• Management of the teams not the technical execution
• Project management: scheduling, phase planning and coordination
• Communicate with client; detail timings, discuss system availability and unavailability and its impacts on daily business with users
• Representation/Business & CXO level communication
• Travel to client sites (25%)
• Run several projects in several phases at the same time
Skills:
• Experience in data centre and application server, user, and active directory migrations (300+ servers, up to 2000 users+)
• Project Management Skills (Prince2/PMI/APM/IPMA/PPM)
• Experience leading large, mixed (supplier/client) project teams
• People Management Skills
• Nice to have: Unix skills
Languages:
Written and spoken English and German know-how is demanded.
