Application Process Programming Software Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Support the automation team with the resource of application process programming
- Create process flow programs on state-of-the-art platforms like Simatic, Fanuc, Beckhoff
- Define program structures for automation solutions, identify relevant processes and process parameter
- Realize program modules for handling, assembly, soldering, screwing, riveting, inspection
- Actively involve yourself in quality control affairs and provide valuable input i.e. during the design phase
- Run system acceptance at third party supplier, support installation at the site of client & transfer to production
- Deliver process documentation and user manual
- Provide interface to customer for application feedback and optimization request
Your qualifications
- Deep experience in application process programming preferably in automotive industry
- Excellent self-management capabilities and very structured, pragmatic, target focused workstyle
- Excellent knowledge in programming controls from Siemens, Fanuc, Beckhoff and others
- Good knowledge in field bus systems such as Profibus, CAN, Ethercat
- Good knowledge in software tools such as C# / C++ / Labview / MySQL / Oracle
- Profound understanding of importance of MES and ERP in context of Smart Manufacturing
- Proven track record of international projects
- Good English and German language knowledge
