My client is looking for an engineer who has especially EMC optimisation and thermal management in conjunction with market-emerging high-current SMD components.
Ideal could be a candidate who has worked in an environment of solar inverters connected to public power grids.
Tasks
Development of multi-quadrant power supplies in a range of 1kW to 50kW
Circuit design of electronic components and full products
Implementation of proved designs and regulatory requirements
Creation of schematics and elaboration of guidelines for the operations department
Bring-up of prototypes and zero series
Internal technical support
Profile
Master degree
Profound knowledge and experience in switching behavior of MOSFETs and IGBTs, related driver circuitry, mastering parasitic effects and methodic optimization of losses and EMC behavior
Experienced in requirements on PCBs for appropriate transformation of schematics under consideration of EMC and thermal management
Good know-how on converter topologies and purposeful choice depending upon product requirements
Familiar with typical lab and measuring equipment and interpretation of results
Customer-oriented and structured working attitude
Good spoken and written knowledge in German laguage
