Proteus Europe is searching for 10 Deployment and System Operation Managers for a contract role initially running until 31st December 2018. The role will be based in Munich, Germany.

Your New role:-
As a Deployment and System Operation Manager within our clients' Cloud System Operation Group, you will define the EU deployment and system operation team which have a ownership of EU Servers and EU all locale module, working closely with a talented team of engineers and business development managers. Were looking for someone who is passionate about consumer-facing user experience and has a deep curiosity about emerging technology, human behavior, artificial intelligence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setup and Lead the deployment and system operation team for all EU locale modules and EU Servers
- Manage and arrange deployment schedule of EU locale modules.
- Proactively communicate and work with each development teams in Europe to deploy each EU locale modules in all environments (Production, Staging etc)
- Lead and manage the system operation (Cloud(AWS/GCP) infra setup and management, Optimizing infra architect, Incident Management, Capacity Planning, Monitoring of System, Database Operation, Managing Logging System and Monitoring System, System Security management)
- Manage the performance of Bixby Server Platform and Engine
- Communicate and work closely with HQ DevOps Team and other region Ops and Deployment Teams to share the experience and knowledge of system operation and deployment of Bixby Servers
Your Skills and Qualifications:-
Essential Skills:-
- Minimum of BS in Computer Science or related technical field
- At least 7 years of experience working as System engineer and manager based on Cloud(AWS) and Servers
- Knowledge of operation framework such as ITIL
- Working Knowledge of change management, incident management, problem management
- Experience with (cloud based) Infra Architecture
- Experience with server operation(OS) and network
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc)
- Experience and Knowledge using devops technologies of application based on Java, Python, RestAPI, etc
- Proven record of development or operation for shipping delightful products to customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Understands how to deliver a message at all levels of an organization
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
