Task:- Monthly expense reports and variance analysis with clear explanations for IT departments and region Switzerland in total
- Rolling monthly forecasts and key metrics by Department
- Calculation and processing of accruals and deferrals for contractor and software costs
- Enhanced management reporting for cost center heads
- Review of existing processes and controls, design and implementation of process improvements in order to provide better transparency and accuracy
- Documentation of processes and associated controls
Requirements (Must have):
- Finance/Accounting undergraduate degree
- 5+ years work experience in a large Financial Institution or fmcg environment including implemention of process improvements
- Strong financial systems understanding
- Excellent analytical skills and creative problem solving skills
- Committment to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft skills
- Peoplesoft (or similar large ERP platform) experience
- Ability to work with others, in an international multi-cultural environment
- Fluency in English and German both reading and writing
Nice to have:
- Qualification as a Chartered Accountant / CPA / MBA as an asset
