Quanta is currently partnering with an international Engineering consultancy and they currently require an electrical Quality Manager to support their end client's major EPC project. This initial 12 month contract is based in Eastern Germany and requires English and German language skills (to at least level B2).You will need to have demonstrable experience of working on major electrical packages of work/projects as a Quality Manager as you will be responsible for developing a project specific Quality Management process for this major electrical EPC project that will contain all relevant interfaces and requirements based on company and industry standards. This includes roles, responsibilities, tasks, frequencies and templates for vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Detailing quality assurance requirements and interfaces with vendors and other service providers.
- Evaluate quality assurance proposals made by service suppliers, including audits of their execution (Inspection and Test Planning).
- Implementing and controlling the QM system to ascertain that scope and quality goals will be met.
- Coordinating and supporting package managers and Client Representatives in their duties related to the QM process.
- Conducting quality audits internally, at vendors and other service providers.
- Ensuring completeness of quality documentation (eg FAT, MoC, NCRs and as-built documentation) in cooperation with the document management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Preparing reports and statuses with regards to quality.
- Reviewing project documentation from a quality perspective.
- Contribute to Risk Management Processes and supporting possible failure and risk analyses.
- 10 plus years' experience as a Quality Manager.
- Significant experience working on EPC projects managing quality on electrical scopes.
- English & German language skills to at least level B2.
