A long-term project with an immediate start in Stuttgart area for a Simulation Engineer.
Tasks:
* Development of new simulation methods and solution patterns in the field of structural mechanics.
* Independent use of methods and simulation tools for planning, execution and evaluation of complex structural mechanical simulations on electrical machines.
* Evaluation of the simulation results and derivation of suitable design proposals.
* Coordination with various competence teams in the development and production of the electrical machine.
* Focusing on strength, noise and durability. Identification and coordination of solutions together with internal and external partners.
Requirement:
Systematic, goal-oriented and independent way of working
* Sound knowledge of the simulation tools ANSYS, ABAQUS, Matlab.
* Advanced knowledge of structural mechanics and strength theory.
* Knowledge in the field of multi-body simulation.
* At least 2 years professional experience in the field of mechanical simulation, ideally in the field of electrical machines.
* Systematic, goal-oriented and independent way of working
