For our client we are searching for an Business Objects Developer (f/m).Tasks:
- deliver BusinessObjects development activities in the scope of data warehousing applications and shall provide experience and capabilities in the following areas:
- Developing and modifying BO Reports
- Designing and extending BO Universes
- Supporting the design and integration of user management inBO with Active Directory;
- Analysis and resolution of problems
- Consultancy services in relation to potential improvements within the implemented application environment
- Documentation of solutions and training services to end users and other technical experts.
Skills:
- BO Universe design
- BO report development
- Experience on current versions of BO (XI, preferably XIR2 or later)
- SQL and database design (both relational and DW) from a query perspective (not from a design perspective)
- An excellent ability to investigate and troubleshoot data quality issues
- Installation and configuration of Business Objects XI, preferably on Linux and Windows systems
- Technical document
- Working with IT issues in a portfolio or asset management setting
- Knowledge of other development languages (e.g. Java, ASP, etc.) would be an advantage
- Oracle database development
- MS Active Directory and/or LDAP
- English
