The Product Development Department of our customer delivers international cross-organisational/cross-functional projects. Within Product Development a small dedicated team of project managers provides project management services for the local implementation of complex international projects or fully manages purely German projects.The projects are mainly SW integration projects mainly in the area of mobile data services. Just to give an example: myFaves or webnwalk tariffs. This means technical requirements of a new service defined by marketing have to be analysed, a software solution has to be designed, developed by a supplier, tested by our customer and installed on HW by Operations. Smaller projects might just be technical changes to an existing system, like a release update. The Technical Project Manager TPM has to make sure, that the technical solution is delivered in scope, time, budget and quality, working with team members from all relevant functions in our team: Marketing, Product Design, Solution Design, Procurement, Operations, Testing, Security, Planning, etc.Projects are run based on the T-Mobile PM Handbook and the customers Introduction Process.The project manager has to comply with a high project management standard and has to be familiar with methodologies like PRINCE2 or PMI.The tasks of the roles we are looking for are: - Professional technical Project management: scoping, resourcing, driving, delivering.- Creates and maintains defined project management artefacts project plan, contact list, deliverable plan, budget plan, resource plan, risk register, org charts, change request log, decision log, action list, etc.- Proactively monitors execution of assigned tasks, work packages and action points to team members - Ensures that project team members have access to up-to-date project information and documentation
Experience within the Telecommunicationindustry
Mobile Data Service architecture -
Background in Mobile Data Services Charging architecture on the network or the IT side is required
Managing of selected projects with exceptional complexity and business impact to time, cost and quality so that the delivery is in line with the business needs
Level Track record in using Prince 2 or similar project management methodologies.
Experience in technology projects in the mobile phone indurstry.
Managing and influencing senior project stake-holders so that project scope and delivery is well defined.
Level Strong knowledge of project management tool sets, preferable professional training in Project Management Methodology PMI, IPMA, PRINCE2, etc.
Level Experience with the customer project management handbook -

Soft skills required:- high communication skills, enjoy interaction with people from the various Telekommunikation functions in Germany or abroad- high ability to deal with complex processes and responsibility split - high self-management ability .- 3 - 5 years experience in complex project and/or team management- 3 years experience in cross-cultural environments- Professional appearance, team-oriented spirit- Business and result orientation- Excellent moderation and presentation capabilities- Very good customer oriented thinking and acting
