Pharmacoepidemiologist / Epidemiologist, Global Pharmacovigilance & Risk Management (m/f)

Ihre Aufgaben:
- Support risk management activities in the development, implementation and maintenance of product-specific (development) risk management plans.
- Design and set up epidemiology studies targeted on pharmacovigilance (e.g. PASS), safety registries and morbidity studies.
- Liaise with external database providers (e.g. GPRD); liaise with research organisations and epidemiologic institutions for the conduct of epidemiologic studies and the maintenance /monitoring of registries.
- Implement epidemiologic methodology to issues of pharmacovigilance and risk management (e.g., PASS, signal detection).
- Support the GPRM Medicine Group in the epidemiologic aspects of signal detection and evaluation.
- Formulate and interpret epidemiologic and statistical analyses, utilizing data from both internal and external databases as well as literature sources.
- Provide ongoing support for addressing ad hoc internal and regulatory authority inquires.
- Provide support for other delegated projects and responsibilities as assigned and as needed.
Ihre Qualifikation
- Medical Doctor or Life Scientist with degree in epidemiology, biostatistics or a related field.
- Experience in the field of epidemiology in the pharma industry or scientific institutions, including designing and implementing epidemiologic studies.
- Proven strong organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate on a global basis.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Excellent computer (incl. Excel, SAS) and database skills.
- Training on the job: External trainings on pharmacovigilance, training on pharmacovigilance SOPs and international regulatory requirements.
