On behalf of our client, an international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a team of (Next Generation) Intelligent Networks (NGIN) Surveillance engineers in Germany.
The Main responsibility is to monitor the equipment and respond when Alarms show up; if needed create a Trouble Ticket in the system and pass it to a relevant engineer to further process.
Key Responsibilities:
• On duty with one operator 24/7 Network Surveillance
• Close cooperation with the operator and vendor staff
• Monitoring and logging of system alarms
• Initiating immediate action based on pre-defined processes
• Problem identification, Alarm and data correlation
• Create, tracking & dispatch of Trouble Tickets
• 1st Level Support: Analysis & troubleshooting of Alarms of NGIN
• Initiation of repair and respective dispatching Field Force
Qualifications:
• Completed vocational education as Technician in Electronics, Telecommunications or ICT.
• Preferable experience in Telecommunications NOC centre.
• Experience in operation and functional understanding of network equipment.
• Working knowledge with service management processes
• Ability to speak and write clearly in both German and English
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• A precise and problem-solving attitude.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours (shift work).
• Advanced computer knowledge
