A global organisation is looking to expand its thriving team with the addition of an experienced freelance Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (m/f). As IT-SME (m/f) for Databases, Storage, Back-Up and Middleware, you will be responsible for:

Analyze the as is situation with respect to databases, storage and middleware (The whole range of infrastructure aspects needs to be taken into consideration: hardware, software, databases, interfaces, data transfers, monitoring, etc.) -
Together with the bank's experts a clear approach needs to be developed to harmonize the infrastructure situation in line with the requirements of the different entities as well as with the guidelines of the group -
Develop and implement a method for tracking and reporting of the progress, including tracking of the schedule, quality of deliverables and unexpected developments and risks -
Contribution to the transformation process to finally establish a common infrastructure situation across the country incl. a hands-on mentality during the piloting phases
What skills should you have?
-
The job requires a deep knowledge of architecture and technology in the infrastructure area (WINDOWS server, databases Oracle/MS-SQL, storage EMC/NetApp/IBM/HDS, middleware layers) -
Certificates in at least two of the above mentioned areas -
Project Management knowledge incl. expertise in transformation processes -
working experience covering infrastructure transformation/migration projects -
Advanced knowledge of MS Office package (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German
