For one of our clients we are looking for an Environment Administrator (f/m)Purpose of role & key responsibilities:
• Maintains the development environments
• Labelling and installation of software
• Software configuration management
• Coordinate maintenance tasks regularly
• Write work orders for tasks to be done on production environments
• Assist/execute regular projects like production cloning and restoring baselines
• Be the contact point for all developers and component testers regarding
o Environment Setup
o Database issues
o And all other issues that come up during development
o Software Integration
• Labelling of software deliveries
• Installation on CT and E2E Environments, optionally on productions environments
Your profile:
• A computer science degree or similar
• Skills required for administrating Application Server, Message Broker, Build System, Version Control, Continuous Integration, Testing and Development Infrastructure, Load Balancing, Documentation Management applications
• Deep knowledge of the development platform's operating system(s)
• Good understanding of the specific hardware and software components
• Continuous Delivery Know How
• Technical and analytical skills
• German and English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer focus and flexibility to travel
