The (THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION) Senior Consultant position requires significant delivery, business development, cultural and knowledge sharing contributions to (THE CLIENT). (THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION) Senior Consultants possess deep expertise in one or two relevant technical areas and a broad knowledge of Information Technology and how it can be effectively used to support the business of (THE CLIENT)’s customers. (THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION) Senior Consultants will interact with customers at management and executive level. The Senior Consultants get engaged as sole contributors in billing client projects, or work as members of bigger teams. They may also be expected to lead project teams consisting of other (THE CLIENT) employees but also client and partner employees.

It is expected that (THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION) Senior Consultants will play a key role in developing and strengthening (THE CLIENT)’s Managed Services Business. Role holders will act as trusted advisors throughout the entire lifecycle of a client relationship. They will be involved in workshops and other consulting engagements to discuss client requirements and identify optimal solutions and appropriate roadmaps that lead to these solutions. The Senior Consultants have to demonstrate pragmatic and proven thought leadership to strengthen (THE CLIENT)’s credibility as provider of business centric IT solutions.

(THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION) Senior Consultant will assist in or lead the planning, design, development, and integration of business solutions using IT technologies, platforms, and products. Client related responsibilities may include:

• Facilitating sessions for requirements gathering, designing and deploying new processes and IT solutions
• Developing roadmaps to realise successful transformation projects
• Developing ROI analysis and business cases for business centric IT solutions
• Managing consulting projects: Leading medium sized complex projects or multiple small projects
• Interfacing effectively with the client’s project leadership/sponsorship
• Accountability for client engagement and deliverables

(THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION) internal responsibilities will include:

• Development of strategic plans for (THE CLIENT) to support business goals in the areas of Managed Services and Emerging Technologies
• Support sales effort by building and implementing Managed Services expertise across division
• Development of new consulting propositions
• Contribution to (THE CLIENT)’s knowledge management program

Regardless of his or her area of specialization with (THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION), all Senior Consultants must fulfil all assigned administrative responsibilities (e.g. entering timesheets) and comply with all company policies. All Senior Consultants must maintain a professional demeanour, attitude and attire at all times. Senior Consultants must be effective team leaders through exemplary delivery, communication, collaboration and customer service. A (THE CLIENT - MANAGED SERVICES DIVISION) Senior Consultant must be self-confident, self-disciplined, and a problem solver and able to mentor others in these areas. Senior Consultants must proactively manage their own work load and that of all assigned team members.

They have to be active participants and contributors within (THE CLIENT)’s organisational culture. A Senior Consultant pursues internal and external training to improve his or her skill set while also working collaboratively to share his or her knowledge with others. Senior Consultants will be called upon to conduct technical interviews of new hire candidates.
