Your tasks:
- As a Backend Developer you design and implement state of the art solutions for an international eCommerce platform within a cross-functional agile team
- You work closely together with stakeholders and various other teams with a customer-centric mindset
- With focus on frequently delivering a high quality product, you support the definition and implementation of quality assurance and automation measures on all levels of the software life-cycle
- Writing software tests, reviewing code and performance analyses are also part of your daily business
- Acting and communicating in a self-organizing, dynamic environment
- Contribute to continuously developing methodologies and Best Practices
Your qualifications
- Experience with Java, Spring, JPA/Hibernate and Java Application Server (preferably TomCat) DBMS (Oracle, MySQL) is mandatory
- Experience with REST, JSON, SOAP and XML
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or equivalent experience
- Good knowledge of current backend technologies and common APIs/frameworks, tools and processes
- Industry experience in eCommerce, Media
- Agile mindset and Scrum experience
- Experience in designing and writing Micro-Services
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), German skills are a plus
- Experience in Database Design and System Integration
- Unit Testing, Mocking and Continuous Integration know-how
- You are a pro-active team player with good communication skills
