Support and maintenance of various applications specialising in the areas of Corporate Finance, Sales, Research and Trading

Leistungsbeschreibung:
-Provision of application service management and support for the assigned applications
-Pro-active problem management and efficient solution of identified problems of the supported application as well as their supporting application area
-Adequate and timely escalation of issues to product responsible / team leader and effected user groups
-Competent contact for user community for all application and production relevant questions
-Coordination and execution of release changes and provision of bug-fixes in close co-operation with other IT areas
-Support and involvement in projects relating to the various systems development / enhancement initiatives
-Close cooperation with persons responsible for interfacing systems and systems operations
-Ensure required documentation is provided for support and maintenance
-User training and knowledge sharing within the team
-Willingness to do shift work and weekend work
-Implementation coordinator and incident manager for the assigned applications
-Provision of system, test, implementation and project support concerning the assigned applications
-Assist in the planning, implementation, and proactive monitoring of key performance indicators regarding assigned applications
-Assist in the incident and change management process

Skillbeschreibung
-Knowledge of IB systems' maintenance and support (including API -development, entity extensions, report writing, etc) and programming languages and frameworks like C/C++, Java, XML/HTML, .NET (C#), VB
-Excellent knowledge of writing SQL queries and experience with Oracle / MS SQL / Sybase
-Experience of complex data models, applications, Intranet sites & dependent interfaces
-Middleware: Connect Direct, MQ Series
-Operating System: Windows, UNIX, VMS
