We are looking for an
Application Support Analyst (m/f)

Duration: 4 MM++
Place: in Düsseldorf
Branch: Unternehmensberatung

Your tasks:
  • Work in an in an international and multicultural team (both internal and suppliers)
  • Provision of day-to-day support for Trading/Front Office selected managed application and services
  • Assess incidents and support requests
  • Identify or engineer resolution path, and take the action needed to achieve the solution
  • Communicate and coordinate task with relevant stakeholders (users, partner resolver groups (HP, T-System, …) and internal process stakeholders
  • Direct support of selected Trader users (business relevant) on end-user issues, support infrastructural or application changes with change assessment and testing
  • Production, delivery and update of IT documentation for the in-scope managed application/services
  • Produce required documentation as part also of initial knowledge transfer
  • Update, document and keep in order application documentation and best practices in case of known problems


Your qualifications
  • Can-do approach with application team and business users
  • Higher education (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent business experience
  • Experience and knowledge in administering/supporting applications and systems) in a time critical business and with multiple suppliers (especially MS windows stack, both client and server)
  • Experience and skills in communicating with business stakeholders, managing priorities by understanding business processes and users
  • Experience and skills in communicating about technical problems with peers and suppliers
  • Experience and skills in planning and executing knowledge transfer, precisely documenting knowledge and keeping documentation in order and up to date
  • ITIL knowledge and working experience in organization adopting ITIL based processes
  • Knowledge of Energy industry (i.e. Trading) as a plus
  • Team player mentality, positive attitude and communication to users, peers and suppliers
  • Dedication and ability to take over responsibility for problem solving and support
  • High level of concentration, attention to the details
  • German and English skills
