Plant IP Migration1. We need to convert our Kierspe plant from a static IP environment to a dynamic IP environment. They are currently running multiple windows, linux, Watchguard firewalls, and other devices. This IP environment will be changing subnets to non-routable IP addresses.
2. Skill sets required:
- Ability to investigate and document current IP address layout without much existing documentation
- Ability to change IP s on the following OS s: Windows (2000, 2003, xp), linuxunix (gentoo, ?)
- Ability to change IP s on the following devices: Printers, wireless routers, Watchguard firewalls, routers
- Coordinate with ISP s for IP routing changes
- Coordinate with external vendor/customer for internal IP address changes that affect vendor/customer connectively to the plant
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues resulting from changing IP addresses
- Will be able to leverage North American support personnel for remote help
- Ability to setup IPSEC tunnel on Watchguard Firewall with Cisco Firewall with help from North America
- Ability to setup DHCP server with help from North America
- Languages fluent in: German and English. Will need to be able to communicate with English speaking support personnel in North America at a high technical level
- Documentation work can be performed during normal work hours
- Implementation has to be performed during the weekend maintenance window. Will work with plant to get a large maintenance window on weekend
