Aufgabenbeschreibung
To develop and design solutions for the services integration of all globally managed Consumer and Enterprise services and applications. To define and manage Standards and Guidelines for the Global Applications (GA) domain in order to reduce costs and increase quality. To enable the Service Envi-ronment to be as expandable, flexible and reliable for existing and upcoming Services and Applica-tions. To provide technical consultancy, support and guidance for all GO stakeholders.


E2E Design respon-sibility for the GA Service Environment
§ Consultancy on the design of the different GO Environments
§ Assure maximum flexibility for GA requirements, maximum expandability for extended forecasts and maximum reliability assuring high availability
§ Provide E2E integration solutions for GA Services and their environment including E2E connectivity and Interfaces
Project Support
§ Provide Integration Design as well as consultancy for service implementation includ-ing E2E Capacity & Sizing
§ Review and „sign Off“ of all design and implementation documents in GA (i.e. HLD‘s, LDL’s)
§ Support Marketing/Development and Supply Chain Management during RFI/RFQs & Feasibility Studies by managing the entire technical input of GA
§ Consultancy, Support and Guidance for the entire GO concerning the implementation of global applications
Optimize re-sources, Increase Quality & Reduce Costs
§ Support & Drive E2E Performance & Quality improvements during the entire Product Life Cycle (PLC)
§ Develop and Drive design solutions and innovation in order to increase the service quality (KPI's) while decreasing the costs
§ Evaluate and Research for new technologies and methods in order to gain synergies and optimize the environment utilization
§ Plan, evaluating and executing technical feasibility analyses / technology assessments / commercial and technical impact analysis within GA domain
Compile Concepts, Standards & Guide-lines
§ Accountable for Standardization in the GA domain
§ Develop and Define Standards, Concepts and Guidelines for the relevant GO envi-ronments and the GO core business
§ Support and Guidance for the entire GO Operation Team concerning the Implementa-tion of the Standards, Concepts and Guidelines
§ Lead Design Work streams with participants from Operation and Develop-ment/Marketing and work out the technical details and to agree and align the topics on technical level.
Support the running business / BAU Activities
§ Provide solutions and consultancy for optimizations of architectural solutions.
§ Provide consultancy for service implementation and optimization including E2E Ca-pacity Enhancements & Sizing
§ Consultancy how to apply the GA Architecture Framework and GA Operation Stan-dards
§ Support and Guidance for Integration and Implementation of changes (Non Standard Service Requests)

Anforderungen

Soft Skills
• Experience in conducting contract negotiations with customers and suppliers

General Technical Skills
• > 5 years of experience in IT service provisioning (preference in the telecommunication industry)
• Broad experience and knowledge of mobile internet communication, protocols, infrastructure, appli-cations, services and integrations.
• Deep knowledge in state of the art IT solutions for Mobile & Web applications and services
• Enterprise network know how as IP routing, DNS, load balancing and security features.
• Wide area network basic know how as leased line, MPLS and IPSec technologies.
• Well developed technical knowledge across a broad range of IT topics such as LAN technology, Database, SAN technology, J2EE application servers (Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat) and the Apache Web Server, UNIX (Solaris), Linux OS including Perl & Shell scripting, JAVA, SQL, Ethernet, TCP/IP, XML, HTML, XHTML, Ant, Struts, Email Solution, Streaming.

Special Technical Skills in the Telco Area
• Good understanding of the mobile operator 2.5/3G network infrastructure as SGSN and GGSN.
• Requirements for voice and video over IP as SIP, QoS, IP Multicasting and RTP.
• A basic understanding of mobile operator enablers as Web/WAP gateway, SMSC+MMSC and AAA/Diameter servers.
