Description:
For the Market Risk IT/Change Team of one of our clients – a major international bank headquartered in Zurich – we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (focus on FRC, foreign exchange, interest rates and credit) with experience in delivering projects for the Risk Management function in large financial organisations.

Responsibilities:
• Drive and coordinate the delivery of Market Risk relevant IT and process changes
• Design and implement business processes that effectively complement the developed technology
• Partner with the Market Risk IT teams to help define and deliver their solutions and ensure they meet the business needs
• Work closely with business stakeholders in Market Risk Control Risk to define requirements and then propose solutions
• Act as the interface between the business stakeholders and the Risk IT delivery teams
• Take ownership of project deliverables and produce concise solution designs
• Develop a deep understanding of FRC (foreign exchange, interest rates and credit) Portfolio Data
• Manage project staff
• 6 months contract to start with, strong likelihood of extension
• Great role in a very international environment

Requirements:
• Strong Market Risk background with a focus on FRC
• Combination of business, product and IT knowledge
• University degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in a large financial organisation or in a large service provider in the financial sector
• Excellent analytical skills
• Good understanding of investment banking products and processes
• Familiar with key risk concepts and measures across asset classes
• Well structured and detailed oriented working style, reliable and dedicated, ability to handle a significant number of dependencies.
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Be a self-starter, show initiative and a strong sense of ownership
• Experience with regulatory initiatives (Basel, BCBS, CCAR etc) is beneficial
• Finance certificate like CPA, FRM, etc are a plus
• Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, etc) are a plus
• Experience from Big4 firms is beneficial
• Fluency in English
