One of Germany's largest and most successful businesses is looking for an experienced C++ developer to join them on a rolling six month contract.
The role is based around the software implementation of sophisticated optimization algorithms with the goal of an automated route planning and route allocation. The implemented software must be integrated into the IT base landscape on the Enterprise Integration Platform.
Required Requirements:
Expertise in Operations Research with long-term and well-founded experience in the conceptualisation and IT-technical representation of complex mathematical procedures in run-time-optimized services
Certifications in more than one relevant software development subject or comparable qualification
Experience in the management of small to medium developer teams (> 5 MA) or in the implementation of technical solutions, of which at least 3 projects with complex implementation or comparable qualifications
3 project references to implementation services in medium and large projects in recent years
Certification "UML Foundation" or comparable practical experience
C ++ development relevant experience or certifications
Travel, especially between the two Dresden and Frankfurt project locations (also several times a week)
Target requirements:
Special knowledge in algorithms for routing search
Special knowledge in the use of column generation methods and/or SAT solvers
Supports project managers in all aspects of project management.
Analyzes novel and complex facts and problems through creative knowledge transfer, presents them to third parties in a comprehensible manner and assesses consequences.
Analyzes inhibitory/sustaining forces consciously and builds up their actions on them.
Expands its scope for action and leads solutions in its technology cluster.
Analyzes novel technical and technical requirements through knowledge transfer, converts them into technical solutions, presents them to third parties in a comprehensible manner and assesses possible consequences.
Conducts suggestions for further development of existing architectures.
Performs measures to implement the technology strategy.
Is a customer recognized by the customer.
Leads the relevant stakeholders safely through analysis and decision-making processes.
Eliminates complexity/abstraction and reduces it deliberately in decision-making processes.
Presents familiar topics routinely and moderates them into smaller groups also across all areas.
Up-to-date knowledge in a special area of software development (C ++) and oversight knowledge in technologically neighboring areas
Extensive methodological knowledge and experience in their application (OOA and OOD in UML2, Scrum, Configuration Management, Releasemanagement)
