As a SAP Data Management specialist under Interface Competency Center, you will be expected to perform the following activities/tasks:
- Service Delivery – Implement various projects and take ownership of technical solutions and deliverables using SAP Data Services. This includes both development and sustain related activities across the zones.
- Technical Proposals – Define technical proposals and prototypes to support functional teams on their requirements and planning.
- Technical Capability Building – Work on topics like technical training, asset creation, etc., towards building a strong delivery capability within the ICC teams.
Knowledge required:
- More than 3 years of extensive hands-on experience in SAP Data Services (previously called BODS)
- Strong exposure to different kind of implementations – Data Migration & Data Integration
- Good understanding of the tool – architecture, components, features, etc.
- Generic overview of SAP extraction/upload using iDoc, BAPI, Extractor and ABAP
- Strong hands-on experience in dealing with performance optimization scenarios
- Knowledge of various ETL techniques and methodologies
- Good knowledge of databases and SQLs
- Preferred – Basic exposure to SAP ECC, SAP BW and Web Services
