My IT Consulting client is looking to add an immediate resource within the team of engineers on the site. The end location is Augsburg, Germany.
As a Big Data Developer/Devops Engineer you will be working extensively with new technologies to enhance and assist the IOT platform development for customer in their industrial controls automation domain. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded and diversity is respected and valued. You will work with other software developers to integrate with other IOT modules - application layer, device integration modules.
Start Date: 3rd of April, 2017
Interview: ASAP
Duration: 12 month+
Project Language: English, German speaking is a plus
Key skills and experience:
- Big data infrastructure: hadoop, mapreduce jobs, hive, sqoop, oozie,ambari. Big data analytics: SVM, logical regression, k-mean, pagerank, cart
- Experience with Scala, C, Go, erlang, Java
- Cluster computing: yarn(hadoop), Apache Spark
- Scripting (ruby, lua, bash, AWK, python)
- Databases:MySQL, postgresql, ha, horizontal and vertical scalability. NoSQLDB: hbase, couchdb, mongodb, cassandra(cql30), Elasticsearch, Neo4J Queue systems: kafka Apache, amqp(rabbitmq,qpid), hornetq
- Statistics: R, SAS, python
