Your tasks:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Administration
- Dataguise/Trifacta/Alation Installation, configuration and operation
- Infrastructure Operations (Malware, Patching, Monitoring, AD, LDAP, Kerberos, certificates, automation, …)
- Operating, maintenance and enhancement of multiple HDP Clusters (plus Hybrid-Cloud Scenarios)
- Provide Hadoop subject matter expertise and technical support for troubleshootings
Your qualifications
- Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef
- Profound Linux skills (Red Hat Enterprise Linux skills are a must), certifications are a plus
- Strong experience in infrastructure automation (e.g. Red Hat Satellite Server)
- At least experience with two scripting languages like Bash, Python or Ruby
- Hybrid-Cloud expertise (desirable: Azure)
- Knowledge of collaboration techniques (git, agile project management, Scrum, DevOps, etc.)
- Hadoop platform knowhow (e.g. Apache Hadoop, HDFS, Hortonworks stack)
- Exposure and knowledge about Big Data Technologies like Hadoop HDFS (Kafka, Spark, Ranger, Solr, Hive a plus)
- Expertise in AD, LDAP, Kerberos authentication and security related issues
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English and German
