2nd Level IT Support

We are currently recruiting for our client, an international IT Support company to join their project in Germany.

Position Title: 2nd Level IT Support
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: December 2016
Duration: 4 months initial

Responsibilities:
- Main responsibility: IT migration support.
- Troubleshooting capability in all domain and technology related issues.
- Domain rejoin of existing services / manual domain transition, assistance in troubleshooting of servers (MSSQL, Fail-over Cluster, Print services), knowledge about DNS/DHCP/AD DS/AD CA decencies.
- VMware ESXi knowledge to support existing local domain controller, domain rejoin and configuration.
- Hands on MFP and print server configuration.
- Support Avaya in resetting Phones and conduct IPT testing before and after WAN cutover.
- Support Verizon with local hands and eyes on network equipment, connect console cables, power cycle switches and access points, check uplink cables and GBICs if needed.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- 3+ years in IT support field. Experience of working as 2nd level support engineer.
- Windows server skills, Windows professional, SCCM advanced.
- VMware ESXi knowledge / experience.
- Experience in MFP configuration, Avaya configuration.
- Fluent English and German language skills.
