On behalf of our client we are currently looking to recruit a qualified freelancer for a project in Hamburg/Germany as a:Javascript Developer (f/m)

Key Responsibilities/Project details:
You’ll be responsible for building features for our new startpage, a greenfield project to replace our old one
You won’t just be writing code all day, you’ll play an active part in shaping our products.
You’ll maintain and contribute to the open source projects we’re using (see https://github.com/xing for further details)
You’ll be part of an excellent independent team that also likes to have fun.
You’ll contribute changes to an app that is used by hundreds of thousands of XING users each day
Working place: Hamburg/Germany
Working period: 01.01.2017 till 31.03.2017 (prolongation possible)
Working hours: Full-time
Remote possibility: one day remote per week is possible
Key Qualifications:
At least two years of professional Frontend and Javascript programming experience, ideally in agile environments.
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures and general software development patterns as well as API experience with HTTP, REST and/or JSON.
Deep knowledge of React JS development
Experience with unit and integration testing, automated testing frameworks is a big plus
Experience with fullstack Ruby on Rails development is a plus
Fluent communication in English
