We are seeking for an employee for one of our major clients who meets the following requirements:
Your tasks:

Support the Global Infrastructure & Service Delivery Lead to define the overall infrastructure strategy, providing operational and day-to-day insights as appropriate

In conjunction with the Head of Provider Management, define the approach to managing major infrastructure outsourcing partners in the region
-
Provide day-to-day guidance to the infrastructure team within the region about routine and escalated interaction with the major outsourcing partners
-
Disciplinarily and functionally lead the regional Infrastructure Engineering Team (30+ positions)

Develop a thorough understanding of the infrastructure budget for the region so that budgetary targets can be met and fiscal best practices implemented
-
Implement and monitor standards and procedures to ensure the efficient running of the core IT infrastructure technologies
-
Accountable for continually reassessing, developing, maintaining and supporting core IT infrastructure and services to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet the client needs
-
Agree targets for service levels and assessing, monitoring and managing the delivery of infrastructure services against the target
-
Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support for the region’s IT infrastructure

Diagnose root causes of infrastructure problems; initiating and monitoring actions to investigate patterns and trends to resolve problems in strategic, tactical or operational aspects
Your profile:
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field

Experience managing an infrastructure outsourcing partner

Several years of experience in designing, building and operating IT infrastructure
-
Experience of managing major IT incidents and thorough understanding of BCP

Strong understanding of hosting infrastructure, IT security and relevant frameworks

Being capable of designing, delivering and supporting. Hosting storage and virtual infrastructure

Several years of experience in managing staff, including work review, performance reviews and day-to-day coaching
-
Demonstrable knowledge of infrastructure products, services and techniques required to support effective technology infrastructures

Excellent working knowledge of IT security principles particularly around the practice and governance of vulnerability scanning and patching
-
Fluent in German and Englisch
