Aufgabenbeschreibung:O-RAN Alliance is commited to envolving Radio Access Networks with its core principles being in-telligence and openness. It aims to drive the mobile industry towards an ecosystem of innovative, multi-vendor, interoperable, and autonomous RAN, with reduced cost, improved performance and greater agility.
Job Description:
- Orchestrate the activities in the newly established Sustainability Focus Group by setting up the structure to ensure that the sustainability & energy efficiency measures are taken into consideration in the alliance
- Define the scope of the focus group, prepare, execute, lead and follow-up on projects in accordance with applicable project management standards and contractual arrangements
- Leading complex cross-divisional project with strategic, industry-wide and international relevance, considering available resources as well as qualitative, procedural, economic, technological, and temporal conditions related to sustainability and energy efficiency aspects
- Steering cooperation with the O-RAN parties involved in the focus group (internally, externally, and internationally)
- Elaborate project plan according to project management standards by setting up a timeplan with deliverables and project milestones in alignment with O-RAN partners to ensure smooth project progress in the working group
- Establish the working model of the focus group by outlining the way of working, performing stakeholder management and providing transparency over the focus group activities

- Expert knowledge in innovation about energy monitoring, production, management and efficiency in telecommunication network
- Expert understating of energy related sustainability challenges and actions of TelCos
- Expert understangind on end-2-end architechture (e.g. RAN/O-RAN)
- Expert understanding on disaggregated RAN
- Structural knowledge of disaggregated RAN
- Operational knowledge of disaggregated RAN (stabil-ity/reliability of network)
- Expert knowledge in business and economics management
- Basic understading of “silicon basic knowledge” – both ARM & X86 ar-chitechture
- Expert knowledge in holistic view development
- Expert knowledge in quality, requirements, resource, risk, stakeholder and in conflict management
