Main tasks:
- Automate further tasks
- Fine-tune existing automation
- Add new features / harden code / update
- Managing Azure Policies
- Managing Custom Roles
- Managing our Central Logging stack (based on Event Hub) using Azure Policies or Powershell code
- Deploying connected Spoke VNets (using Azure ARM/Blueprints)
- Infoblox (our IP and DNS system) automation using REST APIs
- FortiManager firewall automation (using REST APIs): NSG automation (Write new Azure Policies based on requirements from ITRS / Continue to Write Safe Harbor VM migration helpers), Continue to Work with team on writing automation tools to be easily able to migrate VMs from one subscription/VNet to a new subscription/VNet (Enhance documentation where needed)
Main qualifications
- Azure Foundation / Landing Zone knowledge
- Writing Azure automation code / Infrastructure as Code using Powershell, ARM/Azure Blueprints and Azure DevOps pipelines
- Writing unit test code in Pester
- Basic Network knowledge / network segmentation knowledge
- Writing Powershell code to integrate with 3rd party systems via REST APIs
- Azure RBAC / Role definitions
- Azure Policies
- Azure AD
- Working in agile project setups with Backlog Management in Azure DevOps
