Für unseren Bestandskunden im Automotive-Umfeld suchen wir einen Solution Architect:in für eine cPlace Plattform auf Contracting Basis.Start: 12.09.2022

Deliverables:
• Detailed analysis of the existing cPlace 1 and cPlace 2 systems, e.g. by means of interviews with the department representatives, application and platform managers provided, with regard to:
• the actual users (incl. brands, departments, end users)
• the modules and tools currently in use
• the scope of functions currently in use
• the required interfaces to surrounding systems and the associated data stream, which provides an inference to the information objects
• the performance, especially with regard to data storage (Oracle database) In addition, the business and process architecture is to be captured in order to identify the business benefits that are achieved with cPlace 1 and 2 in order to reduce the functional scope of cPlace 1 and 2 if necessary. The existing S-AD will also be used for analysis and critically examined.
• Architecture Vision and high-level description of the optimized cPlace world for the relevant brands and departments. Special consideration is given to data storage and data processing and the associated performance.
• It is ensured that the processing and use of data and information objects from the interfaces is compliant with the group processes.
• Possible optimizations with regard to the basic architecture, the database (in particular Oracle), performance and limitation of the cPlace functionalities are taken into account.
• It is examined to what extent a Red Hat OpenShift would be executable at all and can be implemented in interaction with an Oracle database. (on-premises, resource requirements, accessibility of interfaces, etc.).
• A use of the cPlace landscape in the public is currently not planned. In the medium term, it should be considered whether operation via Red Hat OpenShift is possible.
Results:
• Details and overview of the existing cPlace systems are available (users, tools, requirements, business and process architecture).
• Current architecture including concretely named problems and bottlenecks recorded and documented
Derived measures and recommended actions that lay a working foundation for VoSA (see below)
• Architecture Description of a possible optimized cPlace environment considering the above points.
• Scope and context of the two cPlace platforms
• Description of the solution strategies based on the elaborated recommendations for action
• Documented design decisions for the TARGET picture of the cPlace landscape
Skills:
• Good communication skills incl. proactiveness and is confident in front of the customer
• Experienced solution architect with technical hands-on expertise
• Understanding of architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF
• Data and information object modelling (ArchiMate, ...), needs to understand business processes and what types of data is moved between systems
• Interface design and setup of complex application landscape
• Oracle Database know how (how to optimize performance, deployment and operations of Oracle DB)
• Willingness to dive deep into cPlace toolchain (https://www.collaboration-factory.de)
• Red Hat OpenShift
• Understanding of complex application architecture (databases, application server, web server, hosting, deployments, operations, ...)
