SAP MDG-M Solution Architect (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Facilitate the continuous improvement of material master management around S/4HANA MDG
- Identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
- Facilitate workshops to collect business and technology requirements, solution validation workshops
- Development of Overall Solution Concept based on standard MDG functionality like Central Governance, Consolidation and Mass Processing, Data Quality Management and various custom enhancements (complex maintenance workflows, different UI adjustments, extension of data model, multiple validations and derivations)
- Planning and execution of solution implementation in parallel (dependency) with several other projects/workstreams
- Oversee that the development, configuration, integration, testing and data migration is done by different worldwide support teams end-to-end in time
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyses, and solve problems
- Oversee changes or emergency transports
- Ensure functional designs, test cases and results
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
- Ensure ad-hoc training and user support as required
Main qualifications
- Experience with business processes for material master management preferably end-to-end (from PLM, SCM to CRM) and preferably in discrete manufacturing (not a must)
- Strong experience with business requirement management and solution design
- Experience in SAP in SAP MDG area.
- Good knowledge in SAP MDG Data modelling, Process modelling
- Good knowledge in Data Replication using SOA Service and ALE/IDOCs using DRF+
- Good Knowledge in MDG User Interface framework using FIORI
- Knowledge of BRF+ and of SAP MDG basis related infrastructure activities is a plus
- Knowledge of designing data replication and data import, consolidation with multiple SAP and non-SAP systems
- Provide functional and/or technical expertise to plan, design, implement, test delivery of functional and technical capabilities for SAP MDG and related applications
- Produce and review estimates for customer’s requirements related to RFPs, RFQs for new implementations and enhancements.
- Preferably experience with SAP MM, AIF integration, EDIFACT and with MDG integration to other systems like Ariba, Salesforce, PLM
- English business fluent (German is a plus but no must)
