IT Field Engineer (m/f/d)Are you an motivated IT Field Engineer (m/f/d) and looking for a new project? Our client, a renowned company in the pharmaceutical industry offers an interesting and exciting opportunity in Schaffhausen with focus on user support and incident management.
Your role as IT Field Engineer (m/f/d)
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support / incident management
- Participate in local and global IT lab projects
- Support with Hard- and software purchasing
- Backup of team members managing other areas (application support, manufacturing support)
- Perform basic analysis, design, implementation and maintenance activities.
- Interface with users to analyse and resolve less complex issues according to established service level agreements and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in conducting feasibility studies; prepares reports; assist in creating solutions to problems.
- Assist in designing systems that closely adhere to company standards and structures.
- You may participate on project teams, develop user interfaces and provide L1 technical support and guidance.
- Provide status reports, progress reports and documentation to department management and business partners.
- Demonstrate an understanding of business partner needs and manages satisfaction relative to deliverables.
- Consistently demonstrate knowledge seeking and sharing behaviours in performing daily work.
- Apply competency models principles, concepts and practices.
- Assist in developing effective methods and logic for standard, customised, and/or complex programs.
Your Profile
- Education in IT field (professional school + apprenticeship is OK)
- 1-2 years of experience managing IT incidents, service requests, changes and moves preferably in a lab environment
- Experience in Infrastructure Maintenance and Development
- Ability to show dynamism in a collaborative environment
- Eager to learn and motivation
- Minimum requirements:
- Availability to work 100% on site and provide on call support once per month
- Driving licence
- You ideally have previous exposure to work in a REGULATED MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT: an open minded generalist with the ability to perform a lot of stakeholder management
