Summary:
• Experience with end-to-end application migrations from one infrastructure environment to a different infrastructure environment
• Collect and gather key and relevant data to capture profile data for Varian’s Application Baseline inventory
• Prioritize what needs to be migrated now, later or in the future based on critical deadlines
• Analyze and scope the amount of work and costs by identifying technical SMEs resources required (internal or external, e.g. 3rd-party vendor platform resources) as well as the infrastructure compute resources (Hardware, Software, services). Get them ranked according to specific target dates. One of these dates is “July 31, 2022” , the end of the Microsoft-granted “grace period” for Varian’s M365 Users
• Lead the Varian-tenant shutdown (e.g. varian.com domain takeover including cutover to SHS-environment)
• Strong communication skills - provide overall communication and interface with all team
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps preferred
• Lead migration efforts of third-party solutions of the ‘top priority’ applications that may need to be migrated immediately
• Lead regular project status meetings with internal and external resources
• Understand the PMI framework - risk and issue management
High level scope:
• Application baselining
• Varian tenant shutdown activities
• AD-related integration efforts
Technical skills:
• Strong experience in the M365 & AD-field
• Languages: German, English, preferably located in Germany
• Location: Can be remote
• Contract Duration: 01.04.2022 – 31.12.2022
