L1/L2 Analyst for Command Center at our Stuttgart and Bucharest location
Your Role as L1/L2 Analyst for Command Center.
We are looking for a Support Analyst to join our Command Center IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the central operation of the production-critical IT systems and server platforms in international plants of Daimler. The support of the production users will take place in shifts and during on-call duty on weekends in the event of a disruption, by gathering the necessary information, documenting it, and solving or escalating the incident. You will be proactively monitoring the devices, network, operating systems, application software and the data center to ensure stable IT operations.

Your responsibilities as L1/L2 Analyst for Command Center
• Provide level 1 level 2 production support for production environments
• Prioritizing and escalating with L3 team member to ensure timely resolution
• Server Build and Decommission of Windows Servers
• Windows Server Backup and restoration. File/folder restoration
• Work on Server (CPU, Memory, Low disk space, Cluster failed) alerts
• Troubleshoot and fix issues through monthly MS Security patches
• Maintain Windows 2008 R: Upgrades and Patches
• Maintain and Administer Microsoft Cluster solutions
• Installation and maintenance of databases
• Performing database backup, restore, copy database and troubleshooting recovery issues
• HA FCI, AOAG & TLog shipping implementation
• Technical delivery of WebSphere, JBOSS and TOMCAT administration activities for mission critical production support environments
• Installation, configuration, and system administration of the IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment and IBM HTTP Servers
• Installation, configuration, and system administration of JBOSS, TOMCAT Application Servers and Apache Webservers
• Execute WAS version to upgrade, migrate, and deploy release activities
• Expected to perform various Server Administration activities and handle escalated requests from the Service desk personnel
• Expected to play Level 1/Level 2 role for infrastructure Administration, Incident, and Change Management
• Configure Hardware and Peripherals, Services, Settings, Kernel, Storage, Network, etc.
• Perform File system administrations: Upgrades and Patching
• Perform Installation of Software and Packages
• Perform intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosis as well as root cause analysis and work on Problem Management

Qualifications required
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Willing to work in a 24x7 shift model
• ITIL Process Awareness (Incident, Change and Problem Management)
• 2+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Windows Server Administration, MS SQL, Linux, WebSphere Application Server/Portal Administration,
• Basic understanding of SSCM and SCOM
• Understanding of VMWare virtualization technologies
• Basic knowledge in Network like DMZ, Firewalls and Domains (DNS).
• Basic awareness of SAP, Database, Applications, Storage & Backup from a Server Administration perspective
• ITIL Process Awareness (Incident, Change and Problem Management)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Skillset required
• My SQL or PostgreSQL (Experience in at least one of them would be good to have)
• WebSphere Application Server/Portal Administration, JBOSS, TOMCAT Administration skills.
• Knowledge on other Linux Flavors
• Good hands-on experience in Linux Administration
• Experience on LVM Filesystem Administration, Kernel Tuning, RAID Configuration, OS Hardening, and all parts of System configuration and management
• Troubleshooting skills with Windows Servers and SCCM
• Experience in shell scripting
• Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies such as OS admin, backup, storage, middleware etc. at L1 and scale up quickly.
• High customer orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary: 360 EUR per day
