Primary purpose of the role• The Global IT Solution Architect – End User Computing (m/f/d) is responsible for the overall technical solution of the End User Computing (EUC / Unified Endpoint Services) area within an “IT Infrastructure Carve-Out” project
• He is acting in the organization of the Carve-out object with the aim to reach IT Standalone Readiness & Build Own IT Infrastructure
• He is responsible for the Solution Design and Implementation Consulting
Key responsibilities
• Analyze and review ALL technical documents
• Requirements management & recording
• Creation of solution documents incl. Future Mode of Operation (FMO)
• Cross-project responsibility / view; technical dependency management
• Regular reports to the Project Manager and Program Management over Technical conception
• Constantly deal with analytical work
• Define deliverables (documents, solution designs, plans, etc)
• Creation of technical project plans and timelines
• Identify and follow up risks in time, cost and quality
• Maintain technical risk list / Define mitigations of risks / Identify and avoid technical risks
• Define test scenarios / Define acceptance documents
• Align technical project milestones
• Working closely with the Project Manager responsible for the End User Computing (EUC / Unified Endpoint Services) Pillar of the Carve-out project
Key challenges
• Quickly get understanding of the whole network architecture and derive conclusions
Qualification
• More than 8 years of project experience in planning / solution consulting for IT End User Computing (EUC / Unified Endpoint Services)
• At least 2 years project management experience
• Siemens experience from earlier project would be a plus
• Proven experience in the coordination of technical teams
• Good written and spoken German & English language skills.
Technical Expertise
• Broad overall IT Infrastructure (Clients, Network, Datacenter) knowledge
• Good Knowledge about:
o Digital Workplaces (e.g for Managed, Virtual, Dev., Prod., mMAC clients)
o Printing Solutions
o Endpoint Mgmt & Security Services (e.g. Intune, MS Endpoint Manager EM, VMWare Workspace)
o Mobile Devices (e.g. for Intune, Mobile Iron, VMWare Workspace ONE)
