For a project at our clients site in Zurich we are looking for aIT Disaster Recovery Consultant (w/m/d)
The IT Disaster Recovery Consultant supports IT application managers in the creation of Disaster Recovery Plans (DR-Plans) for their applications. The consultant has to be highly service oriented (i.e. helping the application managers) while at the same time the consultant must be persistent and assertive. We believe this requires a professional with several years of consulting expertise, but we consider also more junior applicants who have the mentioned qualities.
Your Skills:
• Strong generalist IT expertise especially with regards to dependencies between IT systems and different layers in the IT stack
• Experience in IT Service Continuity / Disaster Recovery planning and testing
• Deployment of IT Applications
• Good communication skills
• Strong English and German language skills
Your Tasks:
• DR-Plan creation:
• Scheduling the specification of DR-Plans with the respective IT team
• Brief the application managers on how to specify DR-Plans
• Answer questions and organize the review and approval process of the DR-plans
• Check if plans belonging to the same process are consistent
• Test of the DR-plans:
• Schedule the test of the DR-plan with the respective IT team
• Support the creation of a test plan and test cases
• Collect results and identify required follow-up actions
