Technical skills (Required - Mandatory):
Experience with multiple database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2-UDB and Mongo DB
Experience with designing and building DB environment along with replication sets, high availability, backup & recovery for Standalone and Cluster
Implement continues service improvement initiatives and automation
Hands-on expertise in installation and configuration of DB
Must have exposure to various migration scenarios across DB versions, platform, from one DB engine to another, on premise to public Cloud
Good command on advanced technologies like Clustering, Replication, Consolidation
Experience with relevant monitoring tools like OEM, SQL Server Monitor, SCOM, Solarwinds, Ops Manager covering monitoring configuration and integration with Service Now for alert and event management
Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards
Area of responsibilities:
Actively participate in implementations, Migrations, 24x7 Support during migrations and hypercare
Sharp technical troubleshooting skills
Implement solutions for DB issues
Good understanding of support processes
Ability to manage escalated technical situations & develop action plans
Ability to spot proactive services that benefit of customer
Contract length: 6 months
