In Agile, the Scrum Master is a challenging position as he cares about the team functionality. Scrum Master is responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings. He increases his team efficiency, motivates his team, spins, argues for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness. He ensures the DoD (Definition of done) is being followed.This role will be aligned to the End User Computing team within Technology Infrastructure as a Scrum Master. You will be responsible for managing the squads and driving the development of Customer’s VPN infrastructure used to provide bank access for personal and corporate Windows, macOS, iOS and Android devices.
Role Responsibilities:
? Develop a good understanding of the activities required to execute Service Management functions.
? Guiding the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
? Guiding the team on how to get the most of out self-organisation.
? Guiding the team on self-organising to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
? Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organisation and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organisation.
? Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
? Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
? Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
? Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.
? Follow all guidelines and controls for the relevant processes to ensure compliance and quality.
? Undertake specific functions within the relevant Service Management process as identified for the specific Service Management area.
? Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders, prepare and document meetings, track progress.
? Collect, interpret and respond to changes in production data, as appropriate.
? Track the implementation of resolution tasks.
? Provide regular and reliable reporting of relevant data to meet management requirements.
? Understand thoroughly the end to end application support process and escalation procedures, become fully conversant with all support tools that will be used to provide effective support in the relevant area (i.e. service operations).
? Maintain an end to end view of the application and infrastructure landscape.
Required Skills/ Experience:
? Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. (Adjust based on your necessity)
? Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
? Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
Experience/Exposure:
? Experience of run-book execution
? Experience of supporting complex application and infrastructure domains
? ITIL / best practice service context
? Profound analytical skills
? Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix structures
? Working knowledge of tools Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, SNOW
Skills & Qualifications:
? At least two years of experience with exercising Agile methodology
? Bachelor degree in Technology
? Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile and Lean methodologies
? Strong attitude for either mobility platforms MDM/MAMs or VPN Remote Access infrastructure
? IT Experience 4 - 13 years
