For one of our clients in Rhein-Main-Area we are looking for a Senior Engineer (m/f/d).Required skills/experience:
? Production consult of PaaS infrastructure which includes incident, change, problem manage-ment with a focus on maintaining the platform secure and
? stable
? Good knowledge on network configuration and Firewall configuration.
? Collaborate with engineering, SRE teams to host containerised workloads using above technol-ogies in the standardized, governed and bank-approved
manner.
? Work closely with various vendors and internal teams, to ensure compliance with technology roadmap and security requirements on application, infrastructure and operating system level.
? Enhanced operational activities with trouble shooting and resolving issues requiring system functional knowledge and advanced knowledge of the underlying technologies being consult-ed.
? Automate manual interactions with our systems. Define and implement self-healing and self-management for the platforms.
? Maintain and improve our observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, and Splunk
? Ensure continuity of service through capacity planning, game days, chaos engineering
? Work experience in operations, infrastructure models with strong troubleshooting skills includ-ing basic networking knowledge
? Strong knowledge and experience with ITIL process is required to perform BAU activities.
? Good communication skills are required to collaborate with engineering and applications teams at various stages
? Strong working experience of Linux, Containers, Ansible like configuration/automation tools, and OpenShift technologies
? Experience with monitoring stack like Grafana and Prometheus will be handy in daily activities
? Exposure to middleware technologies like WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat is preferred
? Experience of operating/programming for Openshift or Kubernetes
? Good understanding and basic programming skills in Python, Ansible and Go is preferred
? Any experience with Google Cloud Platform is an added advantage
? Good written and spoken English, German is a plus
