Project Overview:We're building automated infrastructure as code which is a service of the cloud domain for the entire customer side and allows them to automate their cloud infrastructure by using code instead of management consoles from the cloud providers.
Vision
The customer is able to visit our cloud domain "supermarket" and can create and manage their own cloud infrastructure environment selecting resources and services based on their own requirements.
Purpose
Minimizing the effort to manage cloud infrastructure requirements for DevOps engineers and the customer alike. The whole process of creating and managing infrastructure is automated and always fulfills the client's guidelines and security baselines for cloud infrastructure.
Mission
Creating templates for creating infrastructure as code and continuously implement changes on infrastructure based on requirements from a security, maintenance and application point of view.
Goals - What is the expected outcome for the client and stakeholder?
Faster time to market. The creation or management of cloud infrastructure should be business-focused. The infrastructure is not the showstopper for innovation.
Be and stay secure. The client's cloud infrastructure always follows the security baselines and is as secure as possible.
Saving cost less support and target-oriented infrastructure. Well-architected recommendations will be followed and the budget will be used cost-efficient.
Project setup:
The project setup is based on the roles of Scrum and the working method will be also Scrum.

Project Goals:
The goals are based on the status from early project stages. The goals can be changed and re-prioritized depending on the customer requirements and recognition of challenges during the development process.
Following are known goals for the project:
Functional Goals:
Create new cloud infrastructure including the client's development guidelines and security baselines by running a deployment pipeline
Deletion of cloud infrastructure
Updating cloud infrastructure resources with a simple template change
Infrastructure migration (e.g. AWS accounts)
Update SSO access to cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS account)
Technical Goals:
AWS Control Tower setup with landing zone
Integrate Client's Azure AD as SSO
DevCycle for project
Quality check after automated infrastructure creation
All use cases have to be achieved in defined releases with AWS as the main cloud provider.
Scope of Work for Development team:
Work out architecture diagrams
Implement solutions with high quality (AWS Control Tower is set)
Implement DevCycle and quality gates for the infrastructure code
Define development guidelines for Cloud infrastructure usage
Handover solutions to internal colleagues (Workshops)
What skills you should have:
Experience in setting up AWS Control Tower and creating infrastructure as code (Please provide references or Demos, if possible)
