Task Description:
- Analyze requirements and define test cases for an appropriate test coverage
- Gather at least basic knowledge about business topics to be able to challenge planned solutions from a business perspective
- Define and prepare test data for large data sets in complex scenarios. This includes also the calculation of expected results.
- Automate test cases with the currently implemented automation solution (e.g., CI/CD pipeline)
- Execute test cases manually when automation is not time feasible, makes no sense (e.g., one-time migration) or is not working for any other reason.
- Maintain and improve appropriate reports for test coverage and test execution results
- Improve processes beginning from requirements engineering to creation and maintenance of test cases and test automation.
- Share testing approach and knowledge with other team members to increase team efficiency.
Must have:
- Experience in test automation for APIs and WebUIs
- Deep understanding of quality assurance in software development
- The ambition to cover subjects in great detail and depth
- Advanced programming skills
- Understanding of diverse types of APIs (Json, XML, GraphQL)
- Basic experience in performance testing
- Strong interest in the further development and improvement of concepts and process models
- Experience in test & release management activities
- Social competency
Nice to have:
- Knowledge in requirements engineering and modelling (UML, BPMN)
- Experience in agile way of working
- Strong communicator
