a. 10+ yrs experience in Cobol, VSAM, JCL, DB2 and CICS or IMS DB/DC. Knowledge of PL/SQL & Unix Shell scripting.b. Knowledge of usual mainframe toolset (SWT01, SVN, Endevor, CA Scheduler…)
c. Experience in maintaining and enhancing mainframe applications. Fault analysis and troubleshooting on the mainframe and associated interfaces.
d. Exposure to mainframe modernization (COBOL Upgrade, API-fication etc) will be a plus point.
e. Knowledge of insurance or at least banking industry is required.
f. Good German language skills
g. Experience in waterfall / agile delivery and co-ordination with offshore / nearshore team.
