Job Responsibilities
1)Expected to oversee and completely responsible for continued support, administration and maintenance of business critical Operating System infrastructure that are hosted on various flavors of SuSE and Redhat Linux
2)Technical delivery of Linux Servers OS Administration activities for mission critical production support environments
3)Plan & execute OS version upgrades, OS Migrations, Server build, application specific configuration and cluster / virtualization setup
4)Lifecycle management of the central SuSE Linux / Redhat Linux infrastructure (Linux proxy) and SLES distributions (in cooperation with other internal Customers)
May possess additional knowledge and general functionality of Databases and Applications
5)Monitoring of all the Changes and Incidents in Linux OS infrastructure
6)Support the team in resolving critical technical issues during crisis situations
7)Act as a single point of ownership for the providing solution and during critical incidents
8)Working closely with Customer Technical personnel, Governance as well as Architects for Technical Projects and manage the existing Linux OS infrastructure of the Customer
9)Handle the Team and oversee the complete operations and Support the team in resolving critical technical issues during crisis situations as well as demonstrate sense of ownership and accountability
10)Responsible for all the Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators and customer satisfaction metrics for the portfolio of services
11)Act as Single Point Of Contact for the Costumers for the complete topic of Linux Server operations
Skills Required
1. Excellent technical skills on SuSE Linux (Preferred) or Redhat Linux, Operating System Administration
2. Excellent knowledge of Linux Server Image Build and Linux Package Management
3. Experience in managing Linux Security and SUDO access management
4. Experience on any of the Linux Subscription and Management softwares such as Redhat Satellite / Spacewalk / SuSE Manager
5. In-depth experience in handling a Business Critical Server Environment
6. Experience on Upgrades, Migrations, Performance Tuning and advanced root cause analysis
7. Understanding of Application Setups

Salary : Upto 400 euros per day based on role and experience.
