**NEW ROLE - SALESFORCE TECH LEAD**I'm currently working with one of the largest Salesforce Platinum Partners who are currently looking for a Freelance Salesforce Tech Lead for a project until the end of the year plus extensions. They are looking for someone who has a strong sense of leadership, good hands-on knowledge and someone who has a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform. Please see the detailed description of the role below.
Role: Salesforce Tech Lead
Location: Remote - client based in Germany; there may be some occasional trips throughout the duration of the contract to visit the client and team on-site in Germany
Duration: Until the end of the year + extensions
Start date: ASAP (1 month notice period is fine)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team of developers
- Hands on design and development of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Judges trade-offs between technology, feasibility and best practice to make choices that fit the constraints of the project
- Works directly with clients to develop and deliver key components of technical solution
- Lead technical discussions and workshops with client
- Understands Integration and Migration concepts and has experience with Salesforce APIs
- Experience applying appropriate release management approaches in a professional capacity
- Experience of raising warning flags about technical or project issues where appropriate
- Experience of all phases of the project life-cycle
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a hands-on technical leadership position
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSL required
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, Git required
- One or more current Salesforce certifications
- Fluent English essential
