Job Description:
Consultant for file transfer and messaging in the Network & Security cluster.
Tasks:
- Porting of the existing source code from Perl / Bash to Python including code cleanup
- Programming of the code according to QM21_3133 - Programming Guidelines Python
- Creation of multi-client capability (iFG / eFG)
- Creation of deployable packages for Linux RHEL 7, Solaris 10 and 11
- Documentation and testing of the generated code against the server platform
- Support acceptance and commissioning / rollout
- Implementation of know-how transfer to take over the sources
Requirements for the resource are:
- Software engineering seniority 3 or 4
- Specialist know-how Unix operating system and ssh server / client / protocol
