For one of our clients in Frankfurt or in London we are looking for your expertise in Unix/Solaris Administration and Support topics . You will work as a member of an international project team.Responsibilities/Tasks:
? Unix Admin Linux / Solaris v10
? Disk management & volume management(SVM/LVM) experience
? Expertise on EMC SAN Technologies (SRDF, DMX, symcli command set )
? Veritas cluster and volume manager
? Oracle RAC cluster & ASM disks
? Patching of Solaris/Unix servers
? LDAP directory services/NIS authentication & authorization services (single sign on)
? DR knowledge
Required skills/experience:
? Support Incidents and changes
? Review & technical advice on critical production changes on weekends
? Trouble shooting for OS administration
? Identifying RCA & fix for the critical incidents
? Working on problem management support
? Trouble shooting on Veritas and VCS administration
? On boarding application accounts & it’s privileges for the server’s
? Performance turning and support of Samba servers
? Trouble shooting on backup and storage issues
? Troubleshooting on NFS mounts and Samba shares
? NIS & Kerberos Administration
? FS administration in SVM, ZFS & VxVM, etc.
? SRDF & STAR storage replication issues support
? Package and Patch administration

Location: remote, Frankfurt or London
