Our client, a digital advertising company, is looking for an IoT Developer (f/m/d) on a freelance basis.
Start date: ASAP (latest 1.07)
Contract duration: initially 4 weeks with an extension expected
Volume: 40h a week
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Hamburg/Bremen for hardware testing
Tasks:
- Connection of a USB hub to existing software
- GPIO level evaluation and further processing
- Configuration of a Simcom module using AT commands + drivers
- Configuration of a WiFi module (driver + passive mode)
- Integration of all of the above signals into existing Java software
- Connection of the Java software to a new Back End
- Testing the adaptations on the provided hardware
Skills:
- Java 8 experience
- Experience with Linux drivers/installation/update
- Experience with reading out USB/serial interfaces
o GPIO
o Simcom
o Wifi
o I2C module
- Experience with ATtiny is a plus
- Fluent English, German is a plus
