Location: Germany (preferably Düsseldorf/Frankfurt)/ Anywhere in Germany/ Remote work possible initially due to pandemic
Duration: 6+ months (extendable)

Job Description:

Work as a TCS Application Support/Operation Analyst on assigned Projects/ Application maintenance and be accountable for the uninterrupted services or Application availability to the end users. The deal candidate should be able to Diagnose, troubleshoot, and develop new solutions to solve the root cause of problems with in the SLA’s. An ideal candidate will have opportunity to grow in career to Senior Support Executive. The scope of the role is provide support for the Network Probing applications for large Telecommunications service provider in Germany.

Area of responsibility 1: Probing execution support
• Independent and responsible execution of 2nd level support for applications, services and infrastructure.
• Write step-by-step processes, solutions, and ticket updates
• Tracking of Service Level Agreements and Service KPIs for the responsible services, monitors their compliance and reacts proactively to impending violations of the target values
• Independent identification, agreement and implementation of proactive optimization measures for incident avoidance within engineering areas
• Manage SLAs, handling customer escalations (On call or onsite), presenting regular reports to customers, adhering to contractual terms of customers and coordinating with Technical teams in Hungary, Germany, India.

Working hours: hours with 1 hour lunch break) or hours with 1 hour lunch break)
On-call support: After business hours including holidays & weekends (Roaster based)

Required:
• Degrees: University or College degree
• Operations / Support experience in any of the Network Probing tools:
• Netscout
• Simac
• Anritsu
• VoipFuture
• TIBCO
• Gigamon
• InfinIT
• Exfo
• Good knowledge of MS Office and Unix/Linux with experinece on Shell/Perl scripting.
• Good knowledge of network/IT technology, protocols (including TCP/IP and SIP/VoIP)
• 2+ years of Application Support/Operations Analyst in maintaining Probing applications.
• Experience of working with Multi culture and Geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent Communication and presentation skills. Should be comfortable in communicating the problem statemnet to the end users.
• Should be resilient to handle challenges in the project and have good stress management skills.

Good to Have:
• Any industry wide accepted certification in Network Probing telecom domain.
• Understanding of the IMS technology, knowledge of SS7 and ISDN PRI/ SIP Trunking
• Knowledge of VLAN, VPN, Metro Ethernet and networking concept is required
• Coding experience with C++, Java, Python
• Experience of working with larger teams (40 + FTE) and being part of large and complex projects
